To All Councillors

You are hereby summoned to attend the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council to be held at the Chapel, Chapel Lane, Little Hale on Tuesday 16th May 2023 at 7.45 pm.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the Annual Meeting, as well as any Parish Council meeting during the year.

Prior to the meeting, Councillors will sign their Declarations of Acceptance of Office.

  1. Election of Chairman and Vice-Chairman
  2. Apologies for Absence.
  3. Declaration of Interests and any Dispensations sought under the Localism Act 2011, and to note that all Councillors are required to complete the Declarations of Interest Forms in accordance with the Code of Conduct, adopted under Item 4.
  4. Code of Conduct - to adopt.
  5. General Power of Competence – to declare eligibility and adoption
  6. The notes of the previous meeting, held on 7th March 2023 – to approve.
  7. Annual Finance 2022-23
  1. To receive the Internal Auditor’s Report
  2. To approve the Exemption Certificate 2022-23, for submission to the External Auditor
  3. To approve the Statement of Governance for the year ending 31st March 2023
  4. To approve the Statement of Parish Council Accounts for the year ending 31st March 2023
  1. Finance 2023-24
  1. To receive updated financial statements noting receipts and payments made since the last meeting, including receipt of the precept (£2,300) from NKDC.
  2. To approve payments including Clerk £158.58 (April and May) plus expenses (reimbursement of travel, stationery etc), HMRC £39.40 (mth 2 due 19/06/23), Insurance (renewal due 1st June), Mrs Gascoyne Internal Audit, LALC ATS Subscription, Burial Board Contribution, Little Hale Chapel (room hire) and any others that become due.
  3. To receive accounts from the Coronation Event 7th May, and any payments due.
