To All Councillors
You are hereby summoned to attend the Meeting of the Parish Council to be held at the Chapel, Chapel Lane, Little Hale on Tuesday 25th August 2026 at 7.30 pm.
Members of the public are welcome to attend this and any Parish Council meeting during the year. Ten minutes prior to the start of the business of the meeting are set aside for a Public Forum.
1. Welcome
2. Apologies for Absence.
3. Declaration of Interests and any Dispensations sought under the Localism Act 2011. 4.
Casual vacancy – to note that the vacancy had been advertised as required, with no responses, and to co-opt a new councillor to replace Cllr Hill.
5. Minutes of the previous meeting, held on 21st July 2026, for approval
6. Finance 2026-27
i. To receive updated financial statements noting any receipts, etc., and ratify any payments made since the last meeting including Clerk’s July salary and HMRC paid 15th August.
ii. To approve payments in principle including Clerk (August Parish Council and Cemetery work) and HMRC for payment 15th September including reimbursement of £20 for CSW 30 mph sign.
7. Clerk’s Report and Correspondence received.
i. Newsletters from LALC, LCC, NKDC, EA.
ii. Updates from Cllrs Tarry and Collard
iii. Updates from Cllr East.
iv. Lloyds Bank Statements and any other correspondence received.
8. Cemetery
i. To note the transactions report to 20th July
ii. To note progress with the Land Registration and to consider the recommendation from Chattertons to sign the letter declaring the intention to sever any Joint Tenancy that might exist, as an alternative to the Declaration of Trust, recommended by LALC.
iii. To note the completion of the railings/gates painting, by LCC volunteers
9. Policing update – if any
10. Highways and flooding.
i. Community Speed Watch – to note one 30 mph passive sign ordered; possibility of including a portable SID in funding bid, perhaps jointly with other parishes.
ii. Helpringham Road – to note updates, if any
iii. Chapel Lane – update on AW works to repair old main drain iv. Access routes to AGR Solar Farm, Little Hale Fen, comments from residents and outcome of HGVs initially travelling through the village rather than using the haul road.
v. Village Gates – to receive update on LCC grant and haulage company’s offer.

12. Planning Inspectorate Matters - NSIPs
i. Anglian Water – proposed Reservoir – Further consultation planned for Autumn 2026
ii. Beacon Fen Solar Farm – Examination complete, report due by 23rd May.
