2025 Parish Council Meetings

To All Councillors

You are hereby summoned to attend the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council to be held at the Chapel, Chapel Lane, Little Hale on Tuesday 6th May 2025 at 7.45 pm, following the Annual Parish Meeting.

Members of the public are welcome to attend this and any Parish Council meeting during the year.

1. Election of Chairman and Vice-Chairman
2. Apologies for Absence.
3. Declaration of Interests and any Dispensations sought under the Localism Act 2011.
4. Minutes of the previous meeting, 4th March 2025, for approval.
5. Finance 2024-25

1. To receive the Internal Auditor’s Report
2. To approve the Exemption Certificate 2024-25, for submission to the External Auditor
3. To approve the Statement of Governance for the year ending 31st March 2025
4. To approve the Statement of Parish Council Accounts for the year ending 31st March 2025
5. To note the period for the exercise of public rights, 3rd June to 14th July.

6. Finance 2025-26

1. To receive updated financial statements noting any receipts, etc., and payments made since the last meeting, including the Precept payment received from NKDC.
2. To approve payments including Clerk -March/April- plus expenses - reimbursement of travel, stationery etc, - HMRC -mth 2 due 19/6/25-, Sleaford Town Council -Cemetery Grass Cutting- and any others that become due.
3. Banking – to note progress of changes in mandate, online authorisations
4. Cyber security – to note requirement for AGAR 2025-26 to have .gov.uk emails.

7. Clerk’s Report and Correspondence received.

1. Feedback from Town and Parish Council Forum 10th April
2. Newsletters from LALC, LCC, NKDC, EA.
3. Updates from Cllrs Tarry and Collard.
4. Lloyds Bank Statements and any other correspondence received.

1. Flooding – feedback from Section 19 visit to the village by LCC’s consultants, LCC Reports received via LALC
2. Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership Community Speedwatch - to consider signing up -£50 joining fee-

1. Travellers on Little Hale Fen – ref Enforcement Notice issued by NKDC 19th January, to take effect from 20th February 2024, compliance with conditions within 13 months maximum – update if any.
2. Planning Application 24/1265/FUL Erection of 99MW Battery Energy Storage System -BESS- and associated infrastructure Land Lying to The South of Little Hale Drove Little Hale Fen Sleaford NG34 9BG – to note agreed by NKDC 14th March
3. Planning Application 25/0172/FUL Conversion and extension of existing outbuilding to form a single storey self-build dwelling Land Adjacent To 2 Fen Road – awaiting decision by NKDC

12. Planning Inspectorate Matters - NSIPs

1. Ecotricity, Heckington Fen - Solar Park – approved January 2025 - update if any
2. Anglian Water – proposed Reservoir – updates if any
3. Beacon Hill North Solar Farm – to note Development Consent application due to be submitted in March 2025
4.  Pathfinder Clean Energy -PACE- solar farm and battery energy storage system -BESS- “Gauntlet Solar Farm & BESS” on land at Swineshead PE20 3PQ – update if any
5. Ossian Transmission – new application, feedback from webinar attended 2nd April

13. CIL Funded Projects – update on ‘village gates’ and to consider other ideas
14. Community Defibrillator

1. update on negotiations re a new defib for the Fen
