To All Councillors

You are hereby summoned to attend the Meeting of the Parish Council to be held at the Chapel, Chapel Lane, Little Hale on Tuesday 7th January 2025 at 7.30 pm.

Members of the public are welcome to attend this and any Parish Council meeting during the year.

Ten minutes prior to the start of the business of the meeting are set aside for a Public Forum.

 

  1. Welcome
  2. Apologies for Absence.
  3. Declaration of Interests and any Dispensations sought under the Localism Act 2011
  4. Minutes of the previous meeting, 5th November 2024, for approval.
  5. Finance 2024-25
  1. To receive updated financial statements noting any receipts and payments made since the last meeting.
  2. To approve payments including Clerk, November/December, plus expenses, reimbursement of travel, stationery etc,, HMRC, mth 10 due 19/2/25, and any others that become due.
  3. Banking – to note progress of changes in mandate, appointment of Cllr Jenkins as signatory and online authorisations.
  1. Clerk’s Report and Correspondence received.
  1. Newsletters from LALC, LCC, NKDC, EA.
  2. Updates from Cllrs Tarry and Collard.
  3. FOI request received and responded to.
  4. Lloyds Bank Statements and any other correspondence received.
  1. Budget 2025-26 – to note the Precept setting information received form NKDC, to agree the budget, including arrangement for cemetery grass-cutting costs, LALC ATS subscriptions, etc.
  2. Policy for approval – Risk Management Policy
  3. Policing update - 2025 NSK Parish Council Engagement Session, deadline for questions 14th January.
  4. Highways Matters and flooding.
  1. Willow Grange – update on NKDC negotiations re breach of planning conditions re hedge obstructing highway.
  2. Flooding – updates, if any
  3. Notifications of highways work, including Fen Road resurfacing January/February 2025
  1. Streetlights – to note replies from residents re offer from NKDC to re-instate the lamppost nr 28 Fen Road and agree response to NKDC.

  2. Travellers on Little Hale Fen – ref Enforcement Notice issued by NKDC 19th January, to take effect from 20th February 2024, compliance with conditions within 13 months maximum – update if any.
  3. Planning Application 24/1265/FUL Erection of 99MW Battery Energy Storage System BESS and associated infrastructure Land Lying to The South of Little Hale Drove Little Hale Fen Sleaford NG34 9BG – to note LCC comments re Construction Traffic and consider response
