Updates from Cllr Tarry
COUNCIL TAX
At the full Council meeting on Thursday 26th February, it was agreed to increase North Kesteven District Council's element of the overall Council Tax bill by 2.96%. For three quarters of the homes in the District which are Bands A to C this will give a total annual charge for the Council's element of between £133.44 and £177.92 for the coming year. This is an increase of between £3.84 and £5.12 a year for these homes, depending on banding. For any properties at Band D the annual District charge will be £200.16, an increase of £5.76 or less than 12p a week. This is for everything NKDC delivers including waste and recycling collections, benefits administration, licensing and plannning.
When the total Council Tax bills are received in mid-March it will include further charges for the county council, police and parish council.
